The Story of EyeLux Integrations

Hello! My name is Dr. Steve Curtis, I am the founder of EyeLux Integrations. Our mission is to help facilitate the integration of syntonics/optometric phototherapy into optometric vision therapy/rehabilitation practices. After more than a decade of witnessing the extraordinary power of optometric phototherapy, I realized that my clinical results were too powerful not to share with the greater optometric community. I committed to do two things: publish research on optometric phototherapy, and upgrade its technology for today’s world.

This exciting journey started after I added an optometric phototherapy based multi-sensory training system to my vision therapy practice...The Sensory Learning Program (SLP). I repeatedly watched SLP take my therapy success to an entirely new level. I then enhanced my use of it by adding advanced knowledge of syntonics and integrating active vision therapy. This created a protocol of bottom-up to top-down therapy that resulted in further synergistic outcomes that were faster and greater yet! I thereby became determined to make optometric phototherapy based multi-sensory training more widely accessible to patients for years to come.….I created OMST.

So whether your syntonic prescribing is home based, office-based, or you just want to add the magic of OMST to your current therapy toolbox, our advanced engineering will provide you with the “next generation” of optometric phototherapy equipment.

Thank you for visiting EyeLux Integrations.

Please let us know if you have any questions about our products.

What Makes EyeLux Equipment Special?

built To Match The Professionalism Expected

  • Patients are more likely to prefer new technologies compared with their providers. Boeldt, Debra L et al. “How Consumers and Physicians View New Medical Technology: Comparative Survey.” Journal of medical Internet research vol. 17,9 e215. 14 Sep. 2015.

  • A recent survey of more than 600 health care providers found that 82% agree that new technology and equipment innovation will positively impact patient care. https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/artificial-intelligence-could-completely-transform-patient-kutscher/

  • Optometry continues to gain respect as a profession. We want to help syntonic optometry align with this development.

Built To Meet Growing Recognition And Demand

  • Attendance at the Syntonic conferences continues to grow.

  • Medical research shows light therapy is effective when applied at specific wavelengths.

  • Physicians are referring to optometrists for light therapy!

  • Technology features never before available.

Built With Precise Syntonic Optical Transmissions

  • We only use glass filters that are manufactured by adding a mineral to the glass melt process to produce a specifically desired color. Our glass is the same level of quality as your Volk condensing lenses, guaranteed! Why not use gel or plastic filters? As confirmed by The Rosco Guide to Color Filters at www.us.rosco.com, glass filters withstand exposure to heat without fading or degrading, and transmit up to 40% more of the selected frequency.

  • The therapeutic action of each glass filter is characterized by its spectral transmission curve. Each filter’s curve has a specific peak wavelength that must be accomplished during the manufacturing process. Our peak wavelength accuracy and overall transmission curve is guaranteed to be consistent with the 100 years of syntonic optometry criteria.

  • Brightness output of the light source is customized for each filter. This is necessary so that the patient will receive the appropriate amount of light across all filter colors. We take into consideration that most conventional light sources (i.e. incandescent, halogen) emit more red light than blue light. When this is disregarded, patients will find that green and red filters are are less tolerable to look at than the blue end filters. Or they won’t receive adequate amount of light transmission through the blue end filters. We have made appropriate corrections for that in our instruments.
